Welcome to Saint Kentigern. It is my pleasure to introduce the guiding documents which provide a compass and inform everything we do at Saint Kentigern. At the core is what we call our Statement of Intent, an organising framework for stating our priorities and providing a structure for our strategic initiatives.

Statement of Intent

On this page is the visual representation of the Statement of Intent and the key elements of our strategic approach. Each month, the Principals of our schools and our Business leaders report on our progress and development in each of these areas. This ensures alignment across the organisation but also allows for important differences for the age and stage of children in each context.

As you would expect, the vision, mission and our motto are prominent features. From there, we start to expand on some details such the Guiding Principles related to our heritage, our faith and our responsibility as stewards of the organisation. This keeps us grounded on the ideas of our founders and the Trust Deed which has set our path for more than 70 years.

A lot of our daily work revolves around the four Pillars, the strategic arms which collectively help to set the tone and culture for our activities: Learning and Teaching, Care & Wellbeing, Community and Character (see our definitions for these on the diagram).
