Saint Kentigern Students Win South Eastern Zones Cross Country

The day dawned crisp and beautiful for the South Eastern Zones Cross Country held at Saint Kentigern College. In spite of the weather, mud was underfoot adding to the challenges facing the runners.
The combined Middle College and Girls’ School Year 7 and 8 teams competed at the event and proved to be winners, much to the joy of the spectators.
1st - Year 7 Girls Team: Madeline Ballard (MC), Mya Zoricich (MC), Alex Campion (GS), Edith Li, Isabella Hughes (GS) and Zahra Abeysekera (MC)
1st – Year 8 Girls Team: Olivia Rooney(GS), Arya Blackler (GS), Ruby Spring (MC), Olivia Steele (MC), Rebecca Anderson (MC) and Emily Clark (MC)
1st – Top school team - Saint Kentigern
Outstanding overall results include:
Olivia Rooney Year 8 (GS) 1st and over a minute ahead of the next place getter
Arya Blackler Year 8 (GS) 3rd
Alex Campion Year 7 (GS) 10th
