Two selected as New Zealand Reps for Indoor Netball

Congratulations to College netballers, Keyana Kake and Summer-Jean Motufoua, who have both been selected for New Zealand Indoor Netball teams.

Keyana, who plays in the shooting circle for the College Senior A team, has been chosen as captain of the New Zealand Indoor Netball U16 Junior World Cup Team to compete in Perth during mid-July. Since learning of her selection, Keyana has already attended a training camp to be followed by a second this month before travelling to Perth for the World Cup competition that takes place from 12-18 July.

Summer-Jean Motufoua, who plays mid-court for the College Senior A team, has also been selected for the younger NZ Indoor Netball U15 team to compete at the Junior Indoor Netball Tri-Nations. also held in Perth during the same period.

Summer is a ‘double Silver Fern’ having also been selected to represent New Zealand in Touch and will travel to the Touch Football Australia National Youth Championships in Queensland during September.
