Success for Girls' & Boys' School Soapbox Derby Teams!

Both our Girls’ School and Boys’ School teams had an exciting day at this year’s Auckland Soap Box Derby competition. In a field of 13 schools, our two teams ended up racing each other in a nail biting semi-final that resulted in a photo finish. The Boys’ School were declared the winners in this race and went on to race Meadowbank School in the finals where they end as runners up. With the Boys’ School in second place and the Girls’ School in third place overall, both teams have now qualified for the national competition in April.
