Remuera Zone Swimming Championships

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 swimmers from both the Boys’ and Girls’ School who competed at the Remuera Zone Swimming Sports earlier this week. There were 23 podium finishes including the Boys’ School placing 1st in the boys’ event and as well as being named overall champions (boys and girls combined), and the Girls’ School placing 2nd in the girls’ event with 3rd place overall. The Boys’ School also came first in the Field Championship Open Relay.

Another notable achievement is Year 6 Girls’ School student, Alex Campion gaining 1st place in 25m Freestyle, 25m Butterfly, 25m Breaststroke, 25m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle. Well done Alex!

It was a great day of swimming and sportsmanship. Well done to all our swimmers who qualified and achieved placings in their events.
