Recognition For Our Budding Entrepreneurs

November 04, 2021 at 12:11 PM

After months of hard work, our College students showcased their business ideas and were rewarded for their creation at the Young Enterprise East Auckland Regional Awards. Covid-19 restrictions required all participants to submit and present their projects digitally, with pitches and interviews with judges taking place online.

We were well represented at the competition with participation from 18 teams from our Business Studies and co-curricular programme. We are delighted that four of our teams were recognised for their outstanding innovation.

This experiential programme encourages students to set up and operate a Young Enterprise Company. With access to an extensive network of business mentors and support along the way, students are challenged to develop innovative and sustainable business ideas. The programme attracts participation from over 200 schools and in excess of 1000 Young Enterprise Companies are set up across New Zealand every year.

Well done winning teams for inspiring us with your innovation!
