Congratulations to Old Collegian Kirsten Hurley who has had a last minute call up to join the New Zealand U21 Netball squad who are in Glasgow for the World Netball Championships.

Kirsten has been called in to replace Kayla Cullen, a Silver Fern and the most experienced player in the 12-strong age-group squad, who is out of the tournament with a knee injury.

New Zealand open their match programme against Bermuda on Saturday (NZ time), and their other group opponents are Malta, Northern Ireland, and Trinidad and Tobago. They are hoping to go one better than four years ago in the Cook Islands, where they finished runners-up to Australia.
