Girls’ School Junior Cross Country

After a misty start to the morning, the sun broke through to make absolutely perfect conditions for our Junior girls in Years 0-3 to run their cross country this morning.
Held at the Boys’ School, the girls’ races alternated with the boys – our speedy girls overlapping the boys in some events!
A group of senior girls came along in support of the juniors, running the course and giving them encouragement to keep going. It was fantastic to see our cheering parents lining the bank in support, as the students ran through the ‘chute’ at the end of their race, looking tired but well pleased with themselves! Well done to all those who placed on the podium!
With all cross country races now complete and House points tallied, Hamilton are the winners of this year’s Girls’ School Cross Country!
A note of apology: There has been a ‘technical glitch’ with the main camera used at this morning’s event. IT are currently working on the card to see if the images can be rescued.
