First Medals for College Waterpolo in Auckland League

For the first time ever, Saint Kentigern College has received a podium placing in the Auckland League Waterpolo Tournament. Congratulations to the College Premier Boys team who placed 3rd to receive their bronze medals at a ceremony held last Friday night.

The Tournament held in Term 1, is the main competition for Premier College teams in the Auckland region. In the semi-finals, our boys lost to Auckland Grammar 7-7 in a penalty shootout, but then went on to beat Rangitoto College to come in for 3rd.

All team members played exceptionally well, with an honourable mention to their motivational captain, Sam Fleming for leading the team to a win.
