College Tennis Season off to a Great Start!

During the course of this week, the College has hosted the qualifying matches for team entry in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Tennis Championships.
Our Premier Girls and Premier Boys teams were in action to try and qualify for a spot in the national championships to be held in Wellington during tournament week in March.
In outstanding play, the girls beat Diocesan 4-0 and the boys beat Auckland Grammar 4-0 to secure their place in the national competition. Congratulations to both teams who now head to Wellington to defend their titles.
Through dedicated coaching and focused play, our College tennis teams have had amazing success in recent years with our boys’ team having won the national title for the last three years and the girls having won it five years in a row!
