College 7a Rugby Team Win Auckland Finals

The College had two teams playing in the Auckland Rugby Finals day at Dunkirk Road Panmure on Saturday. Both 5A and 7A were up against Auckland Grammar for their championship final game.

5a played first but Auckland Grammar proved too strong, winning 25-7. 7A, however, led from the start till the finish. Saint Kentigern went into half time with a good lead but then Grammar came back hard and scored a couple of tries and came within 6 points difference but our 7A team finished strong and scored two more outstanding tries to claim the title 35 - 19.
