Boys’ School Junior Cross Country

After an early morning misty start, the skies cleared to beautiful sunshine to the herald the start of the cross country races for the boys in Years 0-3.

Alternating with the Girls’ School at the starting line, the boys were full of beans waiting for the start of their race. With the starting clapper struck, they took off like lightning! Each age group took a slightly different course but all ended up funnelling through the chute at the end, in front of a large gathering of proud parents cheering them on!

Well done to all our runners this morning, especially those who came in the first three to gain a place on the podium! Amazingly at Year 0, Cargill made a clean sweep of the podium spots as did Chalmers at Year 2. Cargill House tallied the most points to win the House Cross Country Cup. Well done boys!
